The European Commission organises a seminar on regional heritage
Next December 15th, the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional Policy will host the presentation “The heritage of European Regions”.
The event will discuss the importance of heritage to enhance tourism in Europe, as according to the Nielsen study, it represents 70% of tourism. Speakers will deal with several issues such as the fact that heritage and its peculiarities represent the stories that contribute strongly to the identity of each region. Besides, a European virtual network dedicated to heritage and culture will be presented.
The presentation will be an excellent opportunity to disseminate the CHORD project, and different promotional material such as newsletters, factsheets and leaflets will be distributed among participants.
