CHORD project presented in the European Green Week in Brussels
CHORD project will be exhibited in Brussels during the European Green Week, the most important event organised by the European Commission concerning biodiversity and environment in Europe.
Leaflets of the project will be available in the stand of the Valencian Region until the 4th of June, the closing day of the Green Week. The European Commissioner for Environment, Janez Potocnik, visited this stand and had the chance to know the environmental initiatives carried out by the Valencian Region, such as CHORD project, aimed at protecting the environment and fostering a more sustainable development.
Almost 4.000 people from all over Europe have registered in this 2010 event, which includes 30 lectures aimed at explaining the state of biodiversity and nature in Europe, as well as the path to be taken by EU policies in order to protect European biodiversity in the future.
