    The Province of Benevento, situated in the Campania Region, is responsible for territorial planning and governance, local development and environmental policies.

    The Province of Benevento has enormous potential for development in the cultural tourism industry, thanks to its many areas of unspoilt natural beauty and its striking architectural and artistic heritage dating from various historical periods. The promotion of this unique cultural heritage and the search for original models for its development and integrated quality management is a key programming priority for the Province in its Development Pact (2008). An innovative clustering approach will integrate and enhance the wealth and diversity of cultural resources, foster creativity and become a successful engine for sustainable growth.

    The Region of East Macedonia - Thrace occupies the northeastern part of Greece and is bordering with Turkey and Bulgaria. Its area is divided into 5 prefectures and 56 Municipalities. The most populated urban centres are Komotini that is Region’s administrative seat, 2 big port towns Alexandroupoli and Kavala, 2 beautiful islands Thassos/Samothraki, and three other towns Xanthi, Drama and Orestiada.

    The Region of East Macedonia – Thrace (REMTH) visions to promote cultural heritage as an engine of economic growth through an Integrated Quality Management plan in cooperation with the partnership of the project. Stakeholders of the local economy will be informed through seminars and be trained through workshops which will be organised during the project implementation. Capitalisation activities after the end of the project will be ensured with the involvement of the MA of the ROP East Macedonia – Thrace 2007-2013. The Region will also contribute to the dissemination of projects results in local, national and EU level through press releases and already existing networks / associations (CPMR, AER).

    The Culture and Heritage Industries Cluster brings together all companies and organizations involved in leisure cultural activities as well as in the management of cultural and natural heritage. It promotes the partnerships directed towards the development of innovative products and services committed to protecting and promoting its heritage and culture, and to sustain the local economic development.

    The Culture and Heritage Industries Cluster will bring its experience in the PACA region, a territory considered as advanced in the management and valorisation of the heritage and culture. The participation to the project is expected to provide new opportunities for its members cooperation & networking at a europen level, as well as the partner will provide its experience in the economic development initiatives connected to the valorisation of culture and heritage. Furthetmore one of the target of the partner consist in developing a transferable model of culture and heritage cluster.

    The Chamber of Commerce of Seville, founded in 1886, is a non-profit Public Corporation whose main aim is to defend business interests in the Province of Seville. The most important services that the Chamber provides are: representation, counselling, creation and development of businesses, support to internationalisation of companies, human resources training, etc. It cooperates with other Chambers of Commerce and Public Authorities such as local, regional and national goverments.

    The Chamber of Commerce of Seville aims to develop and enhance rural areas in the Province of Seville by promoting innovative cultural and creative entreprise poles. The Chamber of Seville is developing other initiatives to promote rural areas, with a network of offices in rural areas and a Chamber Bus (Camarabus). Indeed, the Chamber has also worked in the development of some particular rural areas, such as the ricelands in the province of Seville, by participating in an European project called “Tèrres d’Eau”. Within CHORD project, the Chamber will learn other partners’ new strategies to implement sustainable models & marketing plans for innovative creative and cultural enterprise hubs.

    The Mancomunitat is a local entity made up of 35 municipalities of the Ribera Alta region. It manages several services of interest to the member municipalities: social welfare, study material, promotion of culture and tourism, environmental welfare, regional development agency, agency for the promotion of Commercial initiatives and other services.

    The fact that de Mancomunitat is made up of 35 Municipalities represents a great cultural offer provided throughout the year consisting in:

    • Architectural heritage: Towers, churches and shrines, city walls, convents and monasteries ancient hamlets and manor houses of very different styles.
    • Arts - national and international festivals: Festival of Magic, International Piano Competition, Music of the World Festival, International week of Chamber Music, Voramar Music festival (jazz) and Latino festival, International Mime festival and International Fireworks context.

    San Severino Lucano is the leader municipality of the Pollino National Park.

    The institutional activities managed are: financial, registry and technical office, municipal police, heritage, education-culture-sports, tourism, town and territory, civil protection, waste, environment, social sector, economy, handicrafts, agriculture.

    The project is an opportunity for San Severino to overcome its image of an almost unknown area, even if depository of huge historical, cultural and environmental resources, which have not been or could not be exploited. The tourist sector in this area has always been characterized by a lack of explicit strategies able to implement a management policy in the medium-long term. Therefore this project will help to identify and develop solutions to implement innovative cultural services and promote initiatives that can increase the attractiveness and economic value of the cultural heritage of the area and enable the implementation of capacity building strategies and capitalisation of the project outputs.

    Ceutí, located in the Region of Murcia in the Southeast of Spain, is a small village with 10.400 inhabitants. However, its clear and determine promotion of culture has placed it as a reference point both inside and outside the region.

    Despite its size, Ceutí is well known because of its cultural offer:

    • Ceutí’s Auditorium has an acoustics and scenic space which is perfect for a certain type of performances. Its varied offer (theatre, music, dance) and its rigorous programming dedicated to a demanding public, have placed Ceutí in a few years in one of the most important cultural references in the Murcia Region, achieving at the same time prestige and good name outside our regional frontiers.
    • Antonio Campillo Museum: Located in an old fine town house in Ceutí, it contains a large collection donated by the famous sculptor.
    • Open Air Museum composed by over 100 works of art created by great artists at a national level distributed in squares, streets and public buildings.
